What should I do with a blender?
Nowadays there is so much varietykitchen appliances, that many housewives head around. They do not mind replenishing their kitchen implements, but they are often lost, confused, what for what? Say, with a juicer or dishwasher everything is clear, but what is a blender? What should I do with a blender?
Blenders are of two types, stationary and submersible.
- A stationary blender is adevice with an electric motor inside, on which a special bowl with knives from below is installed. Such a blender is used most often for ice chips, whipping and, especially, the preparation of various cocktails. Put ice cream, fruit or jam in the bowl, any ingredients to taste, fill with milk, close the lid and press the button. Stationary blender is advantageous in that it does not need to be held in hand, it will do everything itself. And cocktails, of course, you can do not only dairy.
- And what can you do with a submersible blender? Such a blender is a rather massive handle, on which various nozzles with knives are attached and immersed in a special container. It is used most often for grinding various ingredients, fruits, vegetables, rusks, even meat can be ground into minced meat, though in small portions. If you have a baby, you need it.
For a submersible blender, there are also nozzles witha whisk for whipping eggs or, say, a batter for pancakes. There are nozzles for kneading mashed potatoes. In some models there are special nozzles for cutting vegetables for salad.
All blender models differ in power, andalso the ability to switch speeds. The higher the power and the higher the speed of rotation, the faster and better the work will be done. By its capabilities, the blender, of course, is inferior to a food processor, but it is cheaper and takes up several times less space.
