Undeniable advantages of this utility is the ease of configuration and management, work from the tray (notification area) and the ability to download a free version of the program and without any problems to Russify it.

Some users sometimes have trouble configuring Fraps. In order to clarify all the incomprehensible moments, we will describe the interface and capabilities of this wonderful utility.
The program interface consists of four tabs:
- the main thing;
Let us consider in more detail each of them.
This tab provides information about registration,assembly and version of the program. Also, there are settings for loading the program when the operating system starts, starting in a collapsed mode, securing the interface window on top of the others, monitoring Aero and minimizing it to the tray.
The setting is done by setting a checkmark (tick) or by removing it from the opposite point.
Here, the user can change the storage pathtest files such as frame rate, frame time and log, determine the test duration, assign a hot key and an overlay position (or completely disable it), and allow the overlay update every second .
A little help: Overlay is an indicator that reproduces the frame rate per second and is displayed when the running application is running. He can set four positions: in the upper and lower right and left corner.
The "Video" tab
In the "Videos" tab, you can change the folder forstore videos, assign a hotkey to capture video, determine the ratio of the size / quality of video recording using the fps settings and the video size (full or half), divide the video tracks into separate 4 GB files, hide the cursor, block the frame rate and adjust the parameters of the audio track.
